Buhari sacks NCPC boss

August 28,2019

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the removal of Reverend Tor Ujah as Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC).

A statement from the office of Secretary to Government of the Federation (OSGF) in Abuja yesterday revealed that the decision was in line with section 4, sub-section 3 of the NCPC Act.

Ujah has, therefore, been directed to hand over to Director of Administration in the commission, Mrs. Esther Kwaghe, who will oversee the office pending the appointment of a substantive Executive Secretary.

Besides, the President Buhari has directed the Office of Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) to work out an appropriate framework for the operation of the commission’s offshore account and other government agencies to streamline their operations.
