Insecurity: Ondo police commissioner meets Miyeti Allah leaders, other groups.

- Commissioner of police in Ondo state Undie Adie has met the leaders of Miyeti Alah, Hausa and Fulani community

- The meeting was reportedly held over cases of incessant kidnappings in the state

- Undie consequently urged Fulani and Hausa groups to call their people who are involved in kidnapping to order

Following incessant cases of kidnappings in Ondo, the state commissioner of police, Undie Adie has met the leaders of Miyeti Alah, Hausa and Fulani community in the state.

According to TVC, the meeting followed the recent abduction along Akure/Ikere road.

The commissioner was reported to have said that the meeting became imperative in order to partner with different interest groups to curb incessant cases of abduction in the state

Going further, he was said to have warned the leaders of Fulani and Hausa groups to call their people who are involved in kidnapping to order.

Adie also urged them to always reveal the identify of strange faces in their midst to the police.

Bankole Simeone, the corps’ public relations officer in the state, gave the official reaction in a statement in Akure.

"The attention of the NYSC, Ondo state management has been drawn to news making the rounds and trending on some social media that some corps members have been kidnapped.
