SAD! Muslim Man In Critical Condition After Hit And Run Accident In London.

A Muslim man is in critical condition after being involved in a hit and run accident outside a mosque in Leicester, London. 

The man and a teenage boy were hit by a car immediately after prayers. The boy escaped with minor injuries but the man is fighting for his life in the hospital. 



The spokesperson of the mosque said: "Last night after Taraweeh, one of the brothers who prayed with us was the victim of a hit and run just outside the masjid. He is fighting for his life, and we implore any one reading this post to ask Allah the Lord of The Worlds to grant him a full and speedy recovery, and to grant his family plentiful patience to get through this very difficult time. We remind you all to be very vigilant and to take care when leaving the masjid. May Allah protect us all."

 

The accident isn't being treated as a terrorist attack said the Leicestershire police.

According to the police, from early inquiries, it wasn't a deliberate attack as the driver wasn't trying to ram into pedestrians. 

They said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and enquiries are continuing into the exact circumstances surrounding the incident. We can confirm we are not treating this as terrorist related and we would ask that people do not speculate while the incident remains under investigation."

Tribunal Upholds Elrufai's election as Kaduna Governor

September 09,2019 Kaduna Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Monday upheld the election of the State’s governor Nasir El-Rufai. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Alhaji Isah Ashiru filed an application seeking a recount of the votes cast during the March 9 election in the state. El-Rufai, a candidate of the All Progressives Congress, polled total votes of 1,045,427 to defeat Ashiru who garnered 814,168 votes. The petitioners, however, claimed that the poll was characterised by massive rigging, ballot stuffing, and violence in some parts of the state. But the chairman of the three-man panel, Justice Ibrahim Bako, said the petitioners were unable to prove their allegations of massive rigging and other electoral irregularities against El-Rufai, before the Tribunal.
