NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO brushed off speculation that he could join Chelsea as he confirmed he is "happy" at Wolves.

The Portuguese manager, 45, was named alongside Frank Lampard as potential candidates to replace Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.



Nuno's impressive performance at the Molineux this season has attracted interest from the Premier League giants.

The 45-year-old admitted he is happy with Wolves sat at seventh in the league, but he refused to rule out a move away in the future.

He said: "I consider myself a happy person, yes.

"Yes [I am happy in my job], with the problems and difficulties involved, but at the same time it is a moment of joy.

"I have a total dedication to what I must do and what we must do to keep on becoming better and growing. I'm focused."

When asked if he was aware of interest from Chelsea , he immediately replied: "No."

In regard to his long-term future, Nuno said: "I am going to be tomorrow at the game, for sure."

Nuno's side will face Burnley at Turf Moor following their incredible 2-1 win over Manchester United in the FA Cup.

Ahead of the match, he said: "Burnley is a very good team - physical, aggressive, well-organised.

"It's a very tough game for us, very tough."
