NANS Confers Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba With Prestigious Award.

The Cross River State Director General for Due process and price intelligence bureau,Hon. Barrister
Alphonsus Ogar Eba, has been awarded with the prestigious prize of an Icon Societal Development by the National Association of Nigerian Student.



The award which was conferred on him on April 27, 2018 was in recognition of his pragmatic and transparent leadership, commitment to the overall development of Cross River State.



However, instead of taking all the glory accorded to him by NANS, the DG swiftly dedicated the award to Cross River State Governor, His Excellency Senator Benedict Ayade.




He disclosed that without the appointment and self belief been bestowed upon him by the Governor of the state, perhaps, he wouldn’t have had the opportunity of serving the people.



The DG praised Gov. Ayade for his selfless service and the massive growth and development that Cross River State have witnessed with the few years of his administration.



A self made young man of enviable independence and sound credentials to reckon with, Hin.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba has bestrode the socio political and economic firmament more than a colossus and has earned respect,
admiration, recognition in high and low places.




He stands tall as a natural born orator and a man of integrity whose intellectual endowment, social embodiment, economic strength and political weight has remained a reference point in public discuss.



The award is expected to spur him towards building a better and developmental environment for the people of Cross River State.

Nigeria election: Nigerians react as APC says Atiku not Nigerian April 13,2019 Nigerians on the social media have reacted to the claim by the All Progressives Congress, APC, that former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the just concluded general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not a Nigerian. Tribunal Upholds Elrufai's election as Kaduna Governor

September 09,2019 Kaduna Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Monday upheld the election of the State’s governor Nasir El-Rufai. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Alhaji Isah Ashiru filed an application seeking a recount of the votes cast during the March 9 election in the state. El-Rufai, a candidate of the All Progressives Congress, polled total votes of 1,045,427 to defeat Ashiru who garnered 814,168 votes. The petitioners, however, claimed that the poll was characterised by massive rigging, ballot stuffing, and violence in some parts of the state. But the chairman of the three-man panel, Justice Ibrahim Bako, said the petitioners were unable to prove their allegations of massive rigging and other electoral irregularities against El-Rufai, before the Tribunal.
