Ghanaian Minister Lauds Nigeria On Religious Development .

The Ghanaian Ministry of Religious and Chieftaincy Affairs Delegation who are on a three-day working visit to Nigeria has lauded the efforts of Nigerian on religious development so far. 




The minister of religious and chieftaincy affairs, Samuel Kofi Dzamesi who made the remark on Wednesday in Abuja during the delegation's visit to the National Christian Centre led by the executive secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) Rev Tor Uja. Dzamesi lauded the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) for being able to maintain the edifice despite some challenges faced.





 He stated that the delegation was impressed with religious development seen so far. Adding that they will continue to visit from time to time to see how the Christian centre is being maintained. He said, "We are highly impressed, we never knew that Nigeria has a national cathedral like this. 







Sometimes last year, our President, Nana Akufo-Addo decided we must have national cathedral, we only thought of going to Ivory Coast, and nobody mentioned Nigeria.




 "Ghana is a little bit behind in such project, Irecommend this cathedral to our country and I pray we will be able to build such. "We see this as a challenge and if our brother has been able to do something like this and they are able to assist us to do it, it becomes a blessing to both nations."

Nigeria election: Nigerians react as APC says Atiku not Nigerian April 13,2019 Nigerians on the social media have reacted to the claim by the All Progressives Congress, APC, that former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the just concluded general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not a Nigerian. Tribunal Upholds Elrufai's election as Kaduna Governor

September 09,2019 Kaduna Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Monday upheld the election of the State’s governor Nasir El-Rufai. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Alhaji Isah Ashiru filed an application seeking a recount of the votes cast during the March 9 election in the state. El-Rufai, a candidate of the All Progressives Congress, polled total votes of 1,045,427 to defeat Ashiru who garnered 814,168 votes. The petitioners, however, claimed that the poll was characterised by massive rigging, ballot stuffing, and violence in some parts of the state. But the chairman of the three-man panel, Justice Ibrahim Bako, said the petitioners were unable to prove their allegations of massive rigging and other electoral irregularities against El-Rufai, before the Tribunal.
