EBA,Pushes for an End to Cattle Herdsmen -Attributed Violence in Yala.

The Director General for due process and price intelligence bureau, cross river state,
Hon.Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba visited Ugaga community,called for an end to the violence that
has been recorded in various parts of the state,which has been attributed to nomadic cattle herdsmen.
Speaking with Voplink media reporters on wednesday,Eba,according to a statement issued by media aide,Egbara Emmanuel to embrace peace.Immediately after the visit, Eba took to his official social media page on Facebook to update Cross riverians on the development,saying that:"it is important that the violence attributed to herdsmen is addressed and curbed to ensure the safety.well -being and unity of the people and the state." it would be recalled that in recent weeks, there have been attacks on communities in Benue state by individuals said to be Fulani herdsmen.
with the violence occurring in Benue state in the North-central.
The statement observed that violence between herdsmen and host communities is becoming more prevalent.
