Policewoman: ‘My husband demands sex, favourite foods after beating me’

Pfandergloria Mar 28, 2018 A policewoman, Folakemi Abe, has sued her husband, Temitope Abe, before the customary court at Oja-Oba, Mapo, Ibadan, alleging that he usually demands for sex and favourite foods after beating her. Folakemi, who had sought an end to her marriage to Abe, alleged that this particular behaviour of her husband often happened whenever she could not afford to feed the family, especially when she could not provide him his favourite food. She added she had to oblige Abe his demands on many occasions so she could keep her home because of the children in the marriage.   The policewoman disclosed there was a scary moment in the marriage when her husband allegedly attempted to kill her, saying she strongly believed that one of their children who died was a victim of her husband’s plot. “My lord, separate us. Pandemonium As Coffin Refuses To Enter Church (PHOTOS

Pfandergloria Mar 28, 2018 . There was pandemonium after a strange coffin was reported to have refused to be buried . According to reports, drama started when the body arrived at the local New Apostolic Church for service in the morning in Chilombo area of Kaoma District in Mangango constituency, Zambia. It was gathered that the coffin reportedly refused to enter the church building upon being removed from the canter and instead led its bearers to a house and plunged it through the window breaking glass panes and lodged inside the house. It took police to fire tear gas canisters to control the irate mob which had gathered the witness the shocking incident. Obafemi Awolowo University  (oauedu) The management of Obafemi Awolowo University has postponed the resumption date of the institution to Sunday, April 29, 2018. The decision was reportedly taken after a brief Senate meeting with the university officials on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. According to  Farombi Oluwaseun,  a student of the school, the University Registrar,  Mr Dotun Awoyemi  confirmed that the resumption dates has been postponed. EFCC vs DSS/NIA: Senate receives report on clash

The Senate on Wednesday received the report of its Ad-hoc Committee investigating the clash between officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Department of State Services (DSS) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) on November 21, 2017. Chairman of the committee, Sen. Francis Alimikhena laid the report before the lawmakers during plenary. Sen. Fatima Rasaki seconded the motion for the report to be laid. The Senate had in November. 2017, set up the committee to investigate the showdown between officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja. The face-off was said to have stemmed from EFCC’s attempted arrest of former directors-general of DSS, Ita Ekpeyong and NIA, Ayodele Oke.
